End-of-life Care

In-home Euthanasia
This is a 45-60 minute appointment in your home, which includes a quality of life consultation, sedating medication for your beloved pet followed by a peaceful passing, and personal mementos, such as an ink paw print and a lock of fur.
This price does not include aftercare.
Additional fees for travel, pets >100 pounds, or safe handling may apply.

Hospice Consultation
This is a 60 minute appointment in your home, which includes a quality of life consultation and plan for ongoing palliative care.
We communicate with your regular veterinarian and specialists to develop a medical plan to keep your beloved pet as comfortable as possible for as long as possible, focusing on quality over quantity of life.
Following a consultation, ongoing email support will be provided aswe may prescribe medications and recommend follow-up appointments.
Follow-up appointments are $500
This price does not include cost of medications.

Virtual Quality of Life Consultation
During this teleadvice consultation, you will speak directly with Dr. Mary over the phone or Zoom for 30 minutes.
This may be helpful if you have started to notice changes in your pet that cause you concern, but you're not sure if it is time. Or if you are not sure if what you are seeing should cause you concern.
Sometimes we need another perspective, or perhaps you would like to plan ahead.
Private Cremation

Your pet will be cremated entirely alone, and their ashes are returned to you in a lovely urn via USPS express or delivery to your regular veterinarian. You may also pick up your beloved's ashes at Final Gift in Middleborough, MA.
*Includes $125 fee for our crematory, Final Gift, to assist with transport at your home following your appointment
Communal Cremation

Your pet will be cremated together with other pets, and their ashes will not be returned to you, but will be scattered with honor and dignity.

Scheduling Fees for Holidays and Extended Hours
$200 Major Holiday Fee (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day)

Pets > 100 pounds
$125
For any in-home euthanasia visit, pets greater than 100 pounds will require more medication due to their size. This additional fee is to account for that extra medication.
Safe Handling Fee
$200
When your beloved pet requires special handling due to behavioral concerns, this fee accounts for the extra time and medication required to handle them safely and comfortably.
